Two days ago, I turned the ripe ol' age of 21. TWENTY-FRIKIN-ONE! Might as well get the hip replacement and zimmer frame ordered now... Anyway, my fellow Irish friends and me went into the Grainne Uaile pub last night for a few bevvys. I can still taste the tequila now. So needless to say, I got fairly twatted last night and am feeling the aftermath today. Plus my flatmate has gone to work so I'm hungover AND I'm bored. Somehow today, in this boring boringness of boredom, I've not only managed to set up a blog, but I've also decided that:
A) Old English Sheepdog puppies are too expensive (damn it)
B) Mum won't let me have a chinchilla, degu, bird, hippo, lizard, or any other kind of animal I suggest
3) I'm going to set up a salt water fish tank in my room (I could tell mum it's for research purposes...right?)
So if any of you have experience or advice with setting up a saltwater aquarium, or want to give me an Old English Sheepdog puppy, I'd reallllly appreciate some replies and comments below!
I decided on an aquarium rather than anything else because last year we moved houses (my mum and her boyfriend moved got a house together that's bigger), and now I'm pretty far from the sea. This makes me sad. Soooo by having some marine life boppin' around in my room, I figured it would make up for the lack of ocean in the Welsh valleys.
...wait, did I just say "boppin' around"? That's definitely not a scientific word, and I've never seen a fish bop.
Anyway, I've been doing a bit of research into keeping marine fish and holy crapola, the amount of money it costs! I'll have to do some saving up. But it would be reallllly cool to have a fish tank in my room (not that there's any space for one to go).
The moral of this blog is that dogs are expensive and fish are cool. And Tequila is gross.
